Busy week marketing domain names…

This past week has been a pretty busy one in regards to marketing domain names. With Bido’s new multi auction per day platform, it appears that a domain can easily be passed over if the right exposure hasn’t been made present. My biggest task this week has been to get as much exposure to end users for StadiumRental.com as possible. This domain has huge potential and the more research I’ve done on it, the more golden I realize this domain is. Rental fees are a huge portion of a stadium’s revenue. The Toyota Center out in Houston, TX toyota arena, stadiumcharges $40,000-100,000 per day/event. That’s huge!

I’m excited about the potential of this one and hope my marketing efforts get the right end users to visit the auction. At this point, I’ve done what I can and put my trust where it lies.

Last week, before marketing this domain, I decided to write up a quick pitch and direct the prospects to Bido’s auction via the parked page. Sahar wrote up a quick post on his blog titled “Bido Marketing: Building Auction Pressure Via Your Parking Page.” Being creative and utilizing the tools that we have is key. In this market, the strong will survive and I’m starting to realize that the strong are getting stronger. I’ve always been a top producer in whatever I’ve set out to do and in today’s economy, those who are surviving are the best of the best. Wow, that’s a challenge! The competition has become fierce and I’m finding myself having to work three times as hard just to get a fraction of the results I use to. This isn’t in any way meant to be a rant about how tough it is, it’s just me recognizing the changes and challenges in this world we live in and the need for 110% effort in all that I/we do. As an entrepreneur, I recognize that a tough economy has the ability to produce opportunities. With that said, I not only accept the challenge but welcome it with open arms! I’m grateful to live in this great country – The United States of America! Where freedom has often beenĀ  overlooked and taken for granted; and I give thanks to those who have fought and continue to fight for FREEDOM today…

football stadiumNow here’s a little description of the auction for StadiumRental.com:

Based off of the end user potential, this domain can bring in an excellent return. StadiumRental.com did not sell for much. I had (2) domains that were auctioned at Bido and did not get what they were worth. Basketball.fm (appraised at $6,400) sold for $148 and BridalGowns.de (appraised at $4,500) sold for $77. If I would of known that I would of kept them.
